Neil Hatton MBE
Chief Executive, UK Screen Alliance
Neil has been involved with UK Screen as a director right from its inception in 2004. His background is in broadcast post-production where he was an editor/MD/owner for 20 years and he was a pioneer of non-linear editing. He was appointed CEO in 2016 and is the organisation’s principal spokesperson and policy advocate. He was awarded an MBE in the New Years Honours 2025.
Kate O'Connor
Executive Chair, Animation UK
Kate is a senior consultant in creative industries, working with a wide range of private and public-sector clients in the UK and internationally. Kate is Executive Chair of Animation UK, part of the UK Screen Alliance, and represents the sector to the government level, developing business, export, and skills-related policies to support the industry’s growth.
Ruxandra Farrell
Membership and Business Development Manager
Ruxandra is experienced in membership engagement and events management, having worked in the membership sector (Livery) in the City of London for four years prior to joining UK Screen Alliance. She is our members’ first point of contact and where potential new members can find out all about UK Screen Alliance and Animation UK.
Ruxandra is currently on maternity leave.
Maya Feinstein
Events and Communications Coordinator
Maya brings experience in events, publicity, and communications across the creative industries, including music production and journalism. She oversees newsletters, social media, website content, festivals, and industry showcases, supporting the visibility of UK Screen Alliance and its member companies.
Charlie Watson
Business and Membership Development (maternity cover)
Charlie has been working in the media and entertainment industry for nearly 15 years. With a deep understanding of the industry landscape, Charlie has spent her career building brands and brokering key relationships across the VFX, animation and post production sectors for film and TV. Having spent the last 10 years working in facilities and animation studios, Charlie brings an informed perspective to members across both UK Screen Alliance and Animation UK.
